Golden Bay Cement Works was a part of Golden Bay's history
from 1908 - 1988 employing a large proportion of the community and was one of the main industries
of Golden Bay's economy.
A very dedicated team of ex employees decided it was time for a catch up
so organised a very well run reunion.
Friday the 14th Nov saw the start of what turned out to be a very successful weekend with about 150 old friends sharing
a lot of stories from the past and taking a trip down memory lane.
